We have signed a contract with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) in Opole for the expansion of the section between Jełowa and Bierdzany. The value of the contract is nearly PLN 105.9 million. This is the second section of DK 45 that has been added to our portfolio.

The almost 11-kilometer stretch of the DK 45 national road between Jełowa and Bierdzany is part of the route connecting Opole to Kluczbork and Olesno, and further to Łódź or Częstochowa.

The investment includes the reconstruction of the road, with strengthening and partial replacement of the existing road surface, ensuring it meets a load-bearing capacity of 11.5 tons per axle. The project will also involve the construction of four roundabouts to improve safety, along with pedestrian and bicycle pathways, and additional lanes to service the surrounding area.

The expanded section will be equipped with traffic safety elements and street lighting.

The project will also include the construction of new bus bays and the reconstruction of drainage culverts.

The project is planned to be completed between 2023 and 2025.
