Completion of the Acquisition Process of Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A.

According to the agreement, Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A. will soon undergo a rebranding process and will operate under the new name Duna Polska S.A. The company’s real estate development activities will continue through Duna Polska Real Estate Sp. z o.o.

Maciej Michałek, CEO of Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A., said:

We have completed many ambitious projects – hundreds of kilometers of expressways and national roads, numerous public utility buildings, development projects, and investments in the power engineering sector. I thank the representatives of the Mota-Engil Group and all the employees who, for over 25 years, have built a stable and recognized position for our brand in the market. The ownership change has no impact on our references, capital, staff, management, strategy, or ongoing operations. We hope that this new chapter in the company’s history, written together with the new experienced owner – Duna Aszfalt – will be filled with success and allow even greater development of our organization’s potential.”

As planned earlier, Duna Polska S.A. (formerly MECE) will continue its mining activities at the Górka Sobocka quarry, develop the Bitumen Manufacturing Plant and equipment base, and carry out investment and modernization plans.
