S19 Lublin-Lubartów – start of construction works

The S19 Lublin-Lubartów section is located in the Lublin Voivodeship. The route will bypass Lubartów from the west and then the town of Niemce from the east. As part of the investment, a dual carriageway expressway will be built with a total length of approximately 23 km. The contractor will also rebuild roads that conflict with the planned expressway and build additional carriageways for local traffic. The contract also provides for the construction of four road junctions: “Lubartów Północ” (formerly Wincentów), “Lubartów Zachód” (formerly Lubartów), “Niemce Wschód” (formerly Niemce), and “Niemce Południe” (formerly Leonów), as well as a connection to the existing “Lublin Rudnik” junction. The contract also includes, among other things, the construction of engineering structures, culverts, sidewalks, bicycle paths, drainage systems, environmental protection devices, screens, traffic safety devices, traffic management systems, and road lighting.

The implementation of the investment will form the main road infrastructure with high capacity, connecting the largest economic centers of the country with the largest centers of Eastern Poland.
