S19 Niedrzwica – Kraśnik
The investment has been divided into three segments, with the middle section (from the Niedrzwica Duża junction to the Kraśnik Północ junction – approximately 20 km) designed and constructed by Duna Polska under the “Design and Build” system.
As part of the project, a two-lane expressway was built, with an asphalt surface and reserve space for a third lane on the outside. Starting from the western bypass of Lublin, the route initially follows the existing national road No. 19. It then curves eastward, bypassing Niedrzwica Duża, Niedrzwica Kościelna, and Sobieszczany, passing through forests before Wilkołaz in the corridor of the current road (bypassing the village to the east) and then crossing to the western side. In the area of Lasy, just before Kraśnik, the expressway intersects the current DK19, bypassing the city from the east.
