The investment task is the construction of a two-lane expressway S19 (approx. 23 km long) with junctions, the reconstruction of intersecting roads, and the construction of service roads for adjacent areas, restoring disrupted road connections. It will form the main road infrastructure in the Lublin Voivodeship with high capacity, linking the largest economic centers of the country with the biggest centers of Eastern Poland.
The section is located in the Lublin Voivodeship. The route will bypass Lubartów from the west and then Niemce from the east. As part of the project, a two-lane road with two lanes in each direction (with reserve for the future construction of a third lane) with a total length of approx. 23 km will be built. The contractor will also reconstruct the roads that intersect with the planned expressway and build additional lanes to handle local traffic. The contract also includes the construction of four road junctions: “Lubartów Północ” (formerly Wincentów), “Lubartów Zachód” (formerly Lubartów), “Niemce Wschód” (formerly Niemce), and “Niemce Południe” (formerly Leonów), as well as connections to the existing “Lublin Rudnik” junction. The contract also includes, among others, the construction of engineering structures, culverts, sidewalks, bicycle paths, drainage systems, environmental protection devices, noise barriers, traffic safety devices, traffic management systems, and street lighting.
