The investment involves the construction of a section of the Via Baltica route – a part of the Łomża bypass between the “Łomża Południe” and “Łomża Zachód” interchanges.

It includes 7 km of the 2-lane S61 expressway and the “Łomża Południe” interchange, along with a 9-kilometer section of national road no. 63 leading from it towards Zambrowo. The project is planned to be executed under the “Design and Build” system. The entire task is scheduled for 31 months, excluding winter periods during construction.

Technical specifications:

S61 (Łomża Południe to Łomża Zachód)

  • Length: 7,2 km, expressway cross-section emergency lanes, separated with a green strip (5 m)
  • Cement concrete pavement (27 cm), pavement load 115 kN/axle (KR6)
  • Engineering structures: 1 bridge, 14 viaducts, 1 animal crossing
  • Environmental protection infrastructure, including acoustic screens, retention tanks, and fencing along the entire expressway

DK63 (Łomża Południe – Podgórze)

  • Length: 8,9 km, cross-section 1×2 (Class GP)
  • Asphalt pavement, pavement load 115 kN/axle (KR4)
  • Railway viaduct over the railway line no. 49 Śniadowo – Łomża
