Signing of the conditional share purchase Agreement for Mota-Engil Central Europe
Under the signed agreement, the new owner of Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A. will be Duna Aszfalt Group, a leading company in the engineering and road construction sector in Hungary. Along with the construction activities of Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A., the ownership of Mota-Engil Real Estate, responsible for real estate development, will also be transferred. Other companies operating in the Polish market, including the group of companies carrying out PPP projects, Mota-Engil Renewing, and Mota-Engil Ativ, will remain within the Mota-Engil Group.
These ownership changes will not affect the current operations of MECE in Poland. This means that the company will retain its existing staff, references, capital, and management board. As planned, MECE will continue executing signed contracts, actively seeking new projects, maintaining its mining operations in the Górka Sobocka quarry, developing its Bituminous Mass Production Plant and equipment base, and implementing investment and modernization plans.
In the infrastructure, building construction, electromechanical, and real estate development sectors, the company remains committed to executing its established strategy.
