We signed the contract for the longest section of the S74

On March 28, we signed a contract with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) Kielce for the design and construction of the longest section of the S74 highway in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. This 30-kilometer stretch of road between Cedzyna and Łagów is also the largest road investment in the region’s history. The contract is valued at 1,149,762,210.00 PLN.

Under the agreement, Mota-Engil Central Europe is tasked with carrying out the design work, followed by the construction of two carriageways, each with two traffic lanes and emergency lanes. The project also includes the reconstruction and construction of additional roads that will connect to the existing road network and provide access to properties.

As part of the investment, four interchanges will be built: Radlin, Wola Jachowa, Makoszyn, and Łagów. Two rest areas will be created in Górno, along with a road maintenance facility in Wola Jachowa. The project will also include the design and construction of 16 viaducts and 13 bridges. The investment includes the construction of a wildlife crossing (green bridge) and more than thirty ecological culverts.

The S74 route will connect the S12 and S19 expressways. The road will begin in the Łódź Voivodeship (Sulejów) and end in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship (Nisko). The total length of the S74 will exceed 200 km.
