We will expand the 220/110 kV Rożki power substation

We are about to undertake the execution of another contract for Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A.

The Electromechanical Department of MECE will expand and modernize the 220/110 kV Rożki power substation. All work will be carried out at the operational facility with temporary setups to ensure no disruption to the operation of the National Power System.

The investment includes, among others:

• dismantling the existing and constructing a new 220 kV switchgear,
• modernization of secondary circuits, telecommunications, and SOT,
• construction of a technological building along with an access road,
• construction of three auxiliary buildings,
• reconstruction of autotransformer positions,
• reconstruction of the line inputs to the substation.

This investment is crucial for the safety of the entire national power system, particularly in the Radom area. The project will improve operational conditions and enhance the safety and reliability of electricity transmission.

The value of the contract is over PLN 120 million, and its completion is scheduled for the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026.
